Wayne Reichert

Wayne Reichert has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Wayne began their career in 1988 at Newsday Media Group, where they worked as an Electronic Prepress Night Supervisor for more than 26 years. During this time, they played a significant role in the transition from traditional to digital creation and prepress for the newspaper.

In 2014, Wayne joined Mohonk Mountain House, where they held multiple roles. Firstly, as a Senior Security/Safety Officer & EMT from May 2014 to July 2018, they demonstrated proficiency in conflict resolution, incident de-escalation, and managing security situations at the resort. Later, from May 2015 to July 2018, they served as a Relief Night Manager, overseeing the security of the resort and addressing issues related to violence, alcohol, and drugs.

From 2018 to 2021, Wayne took on the position of Promotions Director at Sound of Life Radio. In this role, they were responsible for managing ministry promotions, website and social media, e-blast communications, brochures, and newsletters. Additionally, they hosted a radio show on Saturday mornings and managed podcasting.

Most recently, Wayne joined First Fruit Ministries in March 2021 as an Operations Manager. In this role, they oversee the maintenance and repairs of the ministry building and grounds. Wayne serves as a liaison with contractors and volunteers, ensuring the smooth operation of the homeless day center outreach.

Wayne Reichert completed their High School Diploma in Commercial and Advertising Art from Kings Park High School in the years 1983 to 1987. Following this, they pursued a Two-year Diploma in Commercial/Advertising Art at Wilson Technical Institute (Boces) from 1986 to 1987. In 2014, Wayne enrolled at Ulster County Boces to obtain a NYS Unarmed Security Guard certification. Simultaneously, they also pursued a NYS EMT certification from Boces Ulster County.
