Lauren Steele

Lauren Steele has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Lauren started as a Front of House Employee at World Wrapps 2.0 Corte Madera, SF, Santa Clara in June 2019 and worked until February 2020. From August 2016 to June 2020, they were the Program Founder & Tutor at Bridge the Gap College Prep. Lauren then served as a Student Trustee at Tamalpais Union High School District from August 2018 to June 2020. In November 2021, they became a General Body Member at Scale and Coin Business Society. From May 2022 to August 2022, they were a Legislative Intern at the U.S. House of Representatives. In April 2022, they became a Dzialga Women in Finance Fellow at Duke Financial Economics Center. At Canine Companions®, they started as a Student Volunteer in September 2022. Currently, Lauren is working as the Head Tutor at First Generation Investors, where they previously worked as a Tutor from January 2022 to September 2022.

Lauren Steele's education history includes attending Duke University from 2021 to 2025, where they studied Economics & Political Science. Before that, from 2016 to 2020, they attended Redwood High School in TUHSD. In addition to their academic education, Lauren also obtained certifications such as Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP in September 2022 and Advanced Open Water Diver from PADI in March 2021.
