Charles Kenney

Charles Kenney has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Charles currently holds the position of Senior Information Security Analyst at First Information Technology Services, Inc since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Progressive Tech starting from 2008, where they held multiple roles. From 2016 to 2023, they served as a Senior Support Engineer & Sysadmin, managing Macs using the Addigy MDM platform and JumpCloud for SSO and device logins. Charles also had experience with SOC2 compliance and certification. From 2008 to 2016, they were a Lead Mac Tech at Progressive Tech, performing hardware repairs and upgrades on various computer models, providing onsite service for networking and troubleshooting, as well as conducting data recovery. Additionally, they worked as a Developer at FreeFall Software from 2010 to 2016 and as a Lead Mac Genius at Apple Inc. from 2004 to 2008. Charles began their career at Haddock Computer as a Sales & Service representative from 1999 to 2004.

Charles Kenney attended Butler Community College from 2000 to 2004, studying Computer Science. Prior to that, they were enrolled in Kansas State University from 1998 to 1999, also in the field of Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Charles obtained a Freshdesk product expert certification from Freshworks in March 2019.
