Louis Wang

Louis Wang has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and security. Louis started their career in 2017 as a Staff Associate - Risk Advisory at EY, where they designed and prototyped a Business Process Management module and developed a financial expenditure procedure using agglomerative hierarchical clustering model.

After their time at EY, Louis joined First Information Technology Services, Inc in 2021 as an Information Security Consultant. In this role, they conducted holistic risk assessments and built a compliance program for Microsoft Mixed Reality. Louis also built and maintained a technical risk register and drafted a compliance tooling whitepaper.

Louis then moved to Microsoft in 2020 as a Program Manager 2, where they focused on architecting and building automated security management workflows and dashboards for the Microsoft Mixed Reality compliance and security team. Louis developed automation flows for routine GRC and incident response processes and built interactive report/dashboards to visualize key compliance KPIs.

Louis Wang completed their Master of Science degree in Information Management at the University of Washington from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they studied Economics at China Agricultural University from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Louis has obtained several certifications including GRC: Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Fundamentals and ServiceNow Platform Implementation from ServiceNow in September 2021. Louis also completed various online courses such as Learning Java Threads and Learning GraphQL from LinkedIn in November 2020 and October 2020 respectively. Furthermore, they participated in several Coursera courses, including Greedy Algorithms, Minimum Spanning Trees, and Dynamic Programming in May 2019, Graph Search, Shortest Paths, and Data Structures in April 2019, and Divide and Conquer, Sorting and Searching, and Randomized Algorithms in October 2018.
