Karen Liza M. Roa

Karen Liza Roa holds significant leadership experience in asset management and education. Currently serving as President at First Metro Asset Management Inc. since June 2018, Karen previously held teaching positions as Faculty Lecturer at the University of the Philippines and University Lecturer at Ateneo de Manila University. Prior to these academic roles, prominent positions included President and CEO at Philam Asset Management Inc., Product Director at SunGard Financial Systems, Vice President at AIG, and Assistant Vice President at Citi. Karen started the career as an Associate at Chase. Educationally, Karen earned a Doctor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science degree from Ateneo de Manila University, and a Master of Business Administration from Fordham Gabelli School of Business.
