Dan Wilton

Dan Wilton has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Dan currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at First Mining Gold Corp., a Canadian gold developer focused on the Springpole Gold Project. Prior to this, they held the position of Board Member, Vice Chair, and Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee at Providence Health Care.

From 2013 to 2018, Wilton worked as a Partner at Pacific Road Capital Management, where they led the North American origination, transaction execution, portfolio management, and exits for a mining-focused private equity fund. Dan was also a member of the Executive Committee and Investment Committee.

Earlier in their career, Wilton served as the Managing Director of the Global Mining and Metals Group at National Bank Financial for nearly a decade. Dan established a leading platform for M&A and equity raising for small- and mid-cap mining companies during their time there.

Prior to that, they worked at GE as the Director of Business Development and at CSFB as an Associate. Wilton's expertise in corporate finance and business development has been instrumental in their successful career.

Dan Wilton obtained a BComm (First Class Honours) degree from Queen's University in 1993. Later, in 2000-2001, they pursued an MBA (with Distinction) from INSEAD. No further details about their field of study were provided.
