Michael A. Summers

Mike joined the bank's holding company, First National of Nebraska (FNN) as Chief Finance Officer in 2006. His direct responsibilities include Finance (including Business, Planning & Analysis, Corporate Accounting, Tax and Treasury), Corporate Insurance, Facility Operations and Procurement. He is instrumental in Strategic Planning and Alignment for FNN and its subsidiaries and is a board member for FNN and First National Bank of Omaha. After graduating from Creighton University in Omaha 1987, Mike joined Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he became a senior manager and developed a proficiency in the financial services industry by auditing and consulting with numerous small and mid-size banking clients. Since then, he has held various executive finance and operations roles at public and private companies in the technology, project management, energy and real estate industries. Mike has served on various not-for-profit boards and is currently an inactive certified public accountant.
