Carla Lewis

Carla Lewis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in traditional health and wellness, photography, and cultural anthropology. Currently serving as the Senior Specialist in Traditional Health and Wellness at First Nations Health Authority since April 2018, Carla also operates Carla Lewis Photography and is associated with Yintah Consulting as a Cultural Anthropologist. With a commitment to indigenous methodologies, Yintah Consulting focuses on promoting cultural resurgence and sustainability. Carla has contributed as a board member for the First Peoples' Cultural Council from April 2018 to May 2024. Carla's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Indigenous Governance from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Arts in First Nations Studies and Anthropology from the University of Northern British Columbia, among other relevant certifications.
