Devi Goberdhan has a diverse work experience. Devi started their career as a Research Assistant at The Manitoba Ombudsman's Office in 2008, where they focused on redesigning educational modules and delivering presentations. In 2009, they joined the Indian Residential School Survivors Society as a Resolution Health Support Worker, providing support to survivors and their families. Devi also served as a TRC project manager, overseeing the roll-out of exhibits and managing a web-based curriculum project. Since 2013, Devi has been working at the First Nations Health Authority, first as an Operations Manager in the Health Benefits department and later as the Director of Operations. In their current role, they lead a team, ensures quality care, and collaborates on strategic priorities.
Devi Goberdhan obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Studies from the University of Manitoba in 2006. Following this, Devi pursued further education at the same university and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.), with no specified end year.
