Thong Nguyen

Thong Nguyen has a diverse work experience. They started their career as a Hardware Design Engineer at Renesas Design Vietnam Co., Ltd., where they designed and verified mobile phone video input/output hardware modules. They then worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Utah before joining DEK Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed internet and network features for Ericsson's AXE telephone exchange system. Thong later joined Absolute Software as a Senior Software Engineer, where they researched and developed security and data risk management solutions. Currently, they are working at First Orion as a Lead Software Engineer, where they have been involved in developing call identity verification solutions to protect consumers and businesses from scammers and spammers.

Thong Nguyen holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. Thong then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Utah from 2010 to 2012. Recently, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Data Science from Maharishi International University, completing their studies from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their academic achievements, Thong has also obtained a certification in C++ from TestDome in January 2020.
