Asher Chong is currently the Head of Growth at First Page Digital Singapore. Asher was previously a Digital Strategist at Avernor Pte Ltd from January 2018 to November 2019. While at Avernor, Asher closed $50,000-$80,000 in sales each month, and coached 3 sales team members on a proprietary sales methodology to close >SGD 250k of contracts. Asher also built a financial model for clients to calculate their potential returns, formulated pricing strategy to match supply & demand of services, and opened up a new market for the agency - digital fundraising for charitable organisations. In addition, Asher wrote 7 sales contracts for clients and held joint sessions to review internal production processes.
Before joining Avernor, Asher consulted for Business Intelligence Project for a Sembcorp Marine Ltd from January 2014 to December 2018. During their time there, they created 7 reports from 2½ years of client’s sales & membership data, processing data using Microsoft Excel & Tableau.
Asher Chong's educational career began at Raffles Institution, followed by Anglo-Chinese School (Independent). Asher then attended Singapore Management University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Organisational Behaviour, Accountancy. Afterward, they pursued a Masters in Management by Research at the same school. Finally, they completed an Executive Programme in Digital Transformation at the National University of Singapore.
