Joan Richel Abaoag

Joan Richel Abaoag has worked in various roles since 2013. Joan Richel began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Capgemini Philippines, where they were a Software Quality Analyst and Mainframe Developer. In 2016, they moved to Sun Life Financial as a Test Analyst, where they were responsible for producing testing artifacts and verifying systems. In 2018, they joined Bayview Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Quality Analyst and Scrum Master. In 2019, they began working at First Performance as a QA Manager, Senior QA Lead, and QA Engineer. In 2021, they became the Owner of Convertified.

Joan Richel Abaoag obtained a BS in Applied Mathematics with a field of study in Operations Research from the University of the Philippines in 2011. In 2014, they received an ITIL Foundation Certification from EXIN. In 2015, they obtained an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board and an ISTQB Agile Tester Extension Foundation Level from the same institution. In 2020, they received a Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate from CertiProf.
