Joel Prka

Joel Prka is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Finance and Commercial Manager at First Quantum Minerals since June 2015, where leadership is provided to a team of over 30 people with significant budgetary accountability of more than US$500M in revenue and US$350M in expenditure. Previously held roles include Commercial Superintendent, overseeing procurement and logistical operations with a US$200M budget, and Senior Management Accountant, focusing on financial analysis and cost reduction. Prior to First Quantum Minerals, Joel Prka worked as a Project Accountant for JWH Group and served as an Audit Manager at EY, managing external audit teams for numerous major companies. Joel Prka holds a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Commerce degree from Curtin University of Technology.
