Tim Covic

Tim Covic has extensive work experience in various leadership and finance roles. Tim is currently the Chief Executive Officer at FIRST Security, where they lead a team of 1700 people and focuses on delivering market-leading security services. Prior to this, Tim worked as the Managing Director of TJ Covic Consulting Limited, where they managed the company for over a decade. Tim also held positions at Kordia as the Head of Corporate Finance, Strategy and Commercial, MorganFranklin Ltd as the Managing Director & Director, Goodman Fielder as the Commercial Finance Director, Chubb Fire & Safety as the Controller, Concert Global Venture (GV) - AT&T & BT as the VP Finance and Controller, and Concert Communications as the Controller. Tim started their career as an Audit Senior at Deloitte. Tim brings a wealth of experience in finance, strategy, and leadership to their roles.

Tim Covic pursued their education in the field of Accounting and Business/Management. From 1983 to 1986, they attended The University of Waikato and obtained a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) degree. Following their undergraduate studies, in November 1989, Tim obtained a certification as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia & New Zealand.
