Mark Lewis

Mark Lewis is an experienced professional in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Advanced Research Process Development for Emerging Technologies at First Solar since October 2014. Lewis specializes in wet coating process development for Perovskite photovoltaic research, focusing on device dopant materials and photo-resist coating processes. Prior to this role, Lewis worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Guardian Industries, where responsibilities included product development for value-added coatings on glass. Earlier experience at Eastman Kodak encompassed managerial and engineering roles, emphasizing new product launches, manufacturing systems development, and quality control for FDA regulated products. Mark Lewis holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester and Penn State University, respectively.
