Adam Starks has a strong background in the banking industry, with experience at two different banks. Adam started their career at Simmons First Bank of South Arkansas in 2005, where they worked as an AVP/AG Lender. In this role, they focused on business development, retention, and adhering to bank policies and procedures. Adam also played a role in developing and marketing new loan products. In 2011, Adam joined First State Bank as EVP/Market President. In this position, they oversaw the daily functions of the bank, including business development and retention, managing staffing, and ensuring adherence to bank policies and procedures.
Adam Starks attended the LSU Graduate School of Banking from 2008 to 2010, where they pursued a graduate degree in Banking. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2003, they attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agriculture, with a focus on General Agriculture.
