Anjana Anna Kuruvila

Anjana Anna Kuruvila has extensive work experience in the accounting and finance field. Anjana Anna is currently the Director of Financial Reporting at First Student, a role they have held since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Accounting Manager and Manager Risk Finance at First Student from May 2021 to January 2023 and from March 2020 to April 2021 respectively. Anjana Anna also worked as an Accounting Supervisor and Senior Accountant at First Student from September 2019 to February 2020 and from March 2019 to August 2019 respectively.

Before joining First Student, Anjana worked as a Senior Staff Accountant at Steven Potter & Co., CPA’s from May 2015 to June 2018. Prior to that, they gained experience as an Executive at KPMG India from January 2011 to July 2011. Anjana Anna began their career as an Audit Senior at Brahmayya & Co., Chartered Accountants in 2007 and worked there until 2010.

Anjana Anna Kuruvila obtained a diploma in International Financial Reporting from ACCA in 2010. Anjana Anna then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Accounting from Indira Gandhi National Open University, which they completed in 2010. Anjana furthered their education with a Master of Commerce degree in Finance and Taxation from Indira Gandhi National Open University, which they completed from 2013 to 2015. In 2020, they completed a course called "Leading with Finance" from Harvard Business School Online. Anjana also holds certifications as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, obtained in 2010, and as a Certified Public Accountant from the Accountancy Board of Ohio, obtained in December 2018.
