Chris Michelsen

Chris Michelsen has extensive work experience, starting in 1989 as a Logistics Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Chris has held various command positions and roles within the Marine Corps, including Commanding Officer and Director. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for training and educating personnel, teaching leadership and ethics courses, and overseeing logistics and installations. In 2019, they joined First Student as the Director of New Business Integration.

Chris Michelsen has a diverse education history. In 1988, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Eastern Kentucky University. Chris then went on to earn a Master of Science in Information Technology Management from the Naval Postgraduate School in 1999. Continuing their education, from 1999 to 2002, they pursued a Certificate in Computer Security at George Mason University. However, it should be noted that their progress towards a PhD in Information Technology at George Mason University was interrupted. Finally, in 2018, Chris completed a Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management from the University of Southern California. Additionally, they hold a Green Belt certification, but the institution and year of obtaining are unspecified.
