Rob Messmer

Rob Messmer is a seasoned professional in talent acquisition with extensive experience in the transportation industry. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at First Student since June 2019, Rob oversees recruitment efforts for management and corporate positions across various divisions. Prior to this, Rob played a pivotal role at FirstGroup America, where responsibilities included pioneering the role of Management/Corporate Recruiter and establishing teams focused on technician and maintenance recruitment. Earlier experience includes roles in operations and recruiting at Aquarius Professional Staffing and 2020 Companies, along with a background in sales and loss control at Regal Chemical Company and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate & Organizational Communication from Western Kentucky University.
