Simon Ford

Simon Ford has a diverse work experience in the field of network architecture and technical consulting. Simon is currently serving as the Chief Network Architect at evo-rail and FirstGroup plc since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked at IP Performance from 2006 to 2020, where they held roles such as Technical Presales Consultant, Senior Support Engineer, and Support Engineer. Simon's earlier experience includes working at BT Wholesale as an ADSL Repair Consultant from September 2002 to November 2005.

Simon Ford earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Networking for Business from Birmingham City University, completing their studies from 1999 to 2002. In addition, they obtained various certifications in networking and security from Juniper Networks, Ruckus Networks, Brocade, and Alcatel-Lucent between 2011 and 2018.
