Andra Welch

Andra Welch, RHIT, possesses extensive experience in health information management, currently serving as the Release of Information Manager at FirstHealth of the Carolinas since September 1999. Prior to this role, Andra held the position of Medical Records Clerk at Chatham Hospital Inc from November 1991 to September 1999 and worked as a Receptionist at Roscoe Optometric from May 1989 to November 1991. Academic qualifications include an Associate's degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) Independent Study Program (1998-2000) and an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Business Computer Programming from Central Carolina Community College (1987-1989).
