Sam Mitchell

Sam Mitchell has a diverse work experience in various roles within the finance and investment industry. They started their career as a Summer Intern at Zolfo Cooper, where they gained exposure to marketing, business development, and research analysis. They continued as a Summer Intern at Zolfo Cooper the following year, specializing in client advisory, marketing, and business development.

After that, Sam joined IVANS Insurance Solutions as a Business Development professional before moving to Preqin, where they held multiple roles including Client Services Consultant, Senior Account Manager, and Business Development Manager. At Preqin, they were responsible for onboarding and managing clients across different asset classes, revenue generation, and presenting at industry events.

Later, Sam joined Artist Capital as an Associate and then transitioned to New 2ND Capital as VP of Investor Relations and Business Development. They played a crucial role in providing liquidity solutions, capital, and strategic needs to private equity sponsors and institutional investors.

Currently, Sam is working at FirstPoint Equity as a Vice President.

Sam Mitchell obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance/Marketing from Fairfield University between 2007 and 2011. Prior to that, they received a High School Diploma from Mountain Lakes High School between 2003 and 2007. In addition to their formal education, Sam has also obtained certifications including the Series 63 and Series 7 from FINRA, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
