Eliza Popa

Eliza Popa currently serves as Chief of Staff at First Round Capital, focusing on evaluating investments and supporting founders. Prior experience includes roles as Fundraising Lead, Program Lead for Miami Drop, and Operations Lead for the Founder Fellowship at On Deck from January 2021 to June 2023. Eliza co-founded Expat Society, contributing to strategy, operations, and growth from January 2016 to June 2022. Additional roles include Associate of Marketing at Interplay, Coordinator at Bipolar Studio, and intern positions at KPMG and The Hub Bengaluru, alongside involvement in a service learning project with CARECEN-LA to assist immigrant students. Eliza holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from USC Marshall School of Business.
