Latoyia Watkins Pierce

LaToyia Watkins Pierce is currently the Vice President, Legal Affairs & General Counsel with FirstService Residential in Dallas, Texas. She is responsible for overseeing and developing the legal strategy for all issues affecting the company throughout the United States and Canada.

Prior to joining FirstService Residential, she had more than 14 years legal experience in various areas including real estate, financial services and property management. She has handled complex and diverse litigation defending companies and professionals who are sued in courts, before regulatory bodies, and in arbitrations across the country. In addition to her litigation experience, she has experience retaining and managing outside counsel in various legal matters throughout the country.

She holds a J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas and a B.S. in Economics from Texas A&M University. She currently serves on the school board for Legacy the School of Sport Sciences in Houston, the advisory board for the NBA Retired Players Association North Texas Chapter and the board for the Dallas Children’s Theater.
