Carlynn Crampton

Carlynn came to FirstWatch with more than 30 years of public safety and customer-focused experience. She has the important role of getting a thorough understanding of a client’s operations and the challenges they face.

She has a rich history in public safety, starting as a dispatcher, a reserve police officer, and eventually becoming a communication center manager who led her organization to become one of the first Accredited Centers of Excellence, through the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch (IAED). She went on to become the Associate Director of IAED, where she advocated for the profession and helped scores of 911 centers also become accredited.

Carlynn earned her BS at the University of Utah, majoring in Speech Pathology and Audiology, a degree she says helps her approach others in a compassionate and supportive way.
