Francisco Diz has a diverse work experience in the field of design and product development. Francisco started their career as a Técnico de CAD at BBE Engineering in October 2018, where they worked until July 2019. During this time, they gained experience in computer-aided design.
In 2019, Francisco joined the CDRSP - Centre for Rapid and Sustainable Product Development as a Research Development specialist. Francisco contributed to research projects in the field of product development until July 2022.
Prior to joining the CDRSP, Francisco worked as a freelance Industrial Designer since September 2017. Francisco showcased their works on platforms like Dribbble and Instagram, demonstrating their skills and creativity.
In 2022, Francisco briefly worked as a Designer at Sirolis - Prefabricados de Betão, S.A. from June to September.
Currently, Francisco is employed as a Product Designer at Fischer Connectors since March 2023.
Francisco Diz completed their Master's in Product Design Engineering at the Polytechnic of Leiria. Francisco pursued this degree from 2020 to the present. Before that, from 2014 to 2017, they obtained their Licenciatura in Industrial Design from ESAD.CR. Francisco has also obtained additional certifications from Coursera, including "Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes," "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design," and "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" in September 2022.
