Carl Pfeffer has held various leadership roles throughout their career. In 1991, they worked in different management functions at Mercedes Benz AG. Carl then served as the Director of Finance and Control at smart S.A.S., France, from 1994 to 1998. From 1998 to 2002, they were the Vice President of Finance and Control and Head of Merger Integration at Airbus Defence Military Aircraft. Pfeffer then joined Zapp AG in 2002, where they served as a Member of the Executive Board until 2010. Afterward, they became the Chairman of the Executive Board at Aluminium-Werke Wutöschingen AG&CoKG from 2010 to 2015. In 2016, they took on multiple positions, including the roles of CEO at Fischer Information Technology GmbH and Member of the Administrative Board and Chairman of the Advisory Board at Steinbock - Mittelstandsbeteiligungen.
Carl Pfeffer has a diverse education history. In 1990, they completed their MBA in Business Administration from INSEAD. From 1987 to 1989, they pursued a degree in Diplom Betriebswirtschaftslehre from the University of St.Gallen. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1987, they studied Betriebswirtschaftslehre at the University of Cologne, where they obtained a Vordiplom. In 1983, they completed their education as a Bankkaufmann at Deutsche Bank AG, Filiale Köln.
