Michael Karnitz

Michael Karnitz has extensive experience in facility maintenance and equipment management, currently serving as a Sr. Facility Maintenance Tech./Equipment Coordinator at Fisher BioServices since April 2012. Responsibilities include maintaining over 500 mechanical freezer/refrigerator units and more than 200 LN2 cryo-storage units across multiple sites. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at EPL Archives, Inc., where protocols for qualifying temperature-critical equipment were developed, and maintenance operations were managed. Michael's earlier career at Eastman Kodak spanned over 15 years, progressing from Process Chemical Operator to Groupleader, with a strong focus on manufacturing efficiency, safety protocols, and employee training. Michael's foundational education includes a high school diploma from Watkins Glen Central School, completed in 1973.
