Brian Gerard has extensive experience in research and development, specifically in the field of metallurgy. Brian started their career as a Metallurgist at the US Army, ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal in 2009, where they provided metallurgical support for the development, manufacture, and sustainment of various metal parts used by the US armed forces. In this role, they also developed and updated material requirements for metal components and implemented process and material improvements.
In 2015, Brian joined Fisk Alloy, Inc as a Manager, Technical R&D / Metallurgist. Here, they managed and conducted product and process development projects, identified new products and processes, and evaluated potential opportunities for commercialization.
In 2018, Brian was promoted to Director, Technology R&D at Fisk Alloy, Inc. Brian held this position until 2021, when they took on their current role as Vice President Research and Development.
Brian Gerard earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Lehigh University, where they attended from 2003 to 2007. Brian later pursued their Master of Science degree in the same field at Lehigh University from 2007 to 2009.
