Axel Buhr

Axel Buhr is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Vice President Finance Europe at Fisker since November 2023, Axel previously held significant positions including Vice President FP&A and CFO Fintech at Arrival from May 2021 to November 2023. Prior to Arrival, Axel was the Managing Director & CFO/COO at AUTO1 FinTech from 2018 to 2020. With a strong background at Tesla, Axel progressed through various senior management roles between 2014 and 2018, focusing on finance and operations within EMEA Financial Services. Axel's earlier career includes influential positions at Daimler Financial Services AG, where key roles spanned from Projekt Leader HR Project to Managing Director of Daimler Export and Trade Finance GmbH. Additionally, Axel has experience as Director of Finance, Human Resources & IT at Mercedes-Benz Leasing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and business controls management at debis AG. Axel holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance & Controlling and Marketing from Berufsakademie Stuttgart, complemented by studies at USC Marshall School of Business.
