Lisa Shields

Lisa Shields has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lisa is the Founder and CEO of FISPAN, a company that aims to revolutionize business banking. Lisa also served as a FinPay Committee Member at Finance Canada. Lisa was a Fellow at the Creative Destruction Lab, where they worked with technology-based ventures to maximize equity-value creation. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as the Director and CEO of Hyperwallet Systems Inc., a global payments company. Lisa also worked as an eCommerce Manager at eBanx.com and as a Software Architect at Environmental Criminology Research Incorporated. Lisa started their career as a Senior Technical and Operational Engineer at MacDonald Dettwiler and held the role of Project Manager at Vibro Acoustic Sciences Pty Ltd. Lisa's early experience includes working as a Hydrodynamicist at Computer Sciences of Australia Pty Ltd, where they developed embedded real-time simulation software for the Royal Australian Navy.

Lisa Shields attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1988, where they obtained an SB and MS degree in Engineering.
