Abhilash K.

Abhilash K. has a diverse work experience starting from 2007 to the present. Abhilash first worked at Deloitte Digital as a User Experience Architect from September 2007 to February 2013. Abhilash then joined Google where they held various roles, including Interaction Designer for Google Play Movies & TV from July 2013 to November 2015, and later as a Senior Interaction Designer for Google Fit from November 2015 to August 2018. Following that, they became the Product Design Lead for Material Design from August 2018 to February 2020, where they led the design of material.io and worked on projects to improve product development workflows and interactive learning experiences. From March 2020 to September 2020, Abhilash K. took on the role of Product Design Lead for Google.org Fellowship x Médecins Sans Frontières, leading the design of a smartphone app, a web-based configuration console, and a marketing website for Antibiogo, which was certified as a medical device and implemented to treat patients. Currently, they are working as the Head of Design at Fitbod since May 2023.

Abhilash K. completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from UNSW, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
