Joe Lomas

Joe Lomas currently serves as a Senior Analyst at Fitch Ratings, a position held since June 2024. Prior to this, Joe worked as a Credit Analyst at 9fin from September 2021 to May 2024, specializing in high-yield bonds, leveraged loans, and private credit in Europe. Earlier experience includes roles at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as an ECO, and at Oxfam International as an Accounts Assistant. Additionally, Joe worked as an Investment Analyst at Puji Capital and as a General Advisor at Citizens Advice Scotland. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Finance from the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics from the University of Dundee, along with an exchange program in Economics at the University of Alberta.
