Monsur Hussain

Monsur Hussain has extensive experience in the financial industry, with a focus on regulatory policy and advisory. Monsur started their career at Co-operative Bank plc as a Programme Design Authority for the Basel II Programme. Monsur then moved to Investec Bank plc as a Regulatory Capital Adviser. After that, they joined Deutsche Bank, where they worked in the Regulatory Policy & Advisory Group providing support and advice on capital structuring across various asset classes. Following their time at Deutsche Bank, Monsur joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Director, where they specialized in capital management and regulatory policy. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Research for Group FI at Fitch Ratings, responsible for creating opinionated research and providing technical support and training to the global analytical group.

Monsur Hussain completed a Diploma in International Business from Manchester Business School in 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a BA (Hons) in Modern History with Economics from The University of Manchester in 2000.
