Mike Paladino has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Mike started their career at Hamilton & Co. as a Performance Analyst in 1994 and then moved on to Lazard Asset Management as a Senior Performance Analyst from 1995 to 1998. Mike joined E. Magnus Oppenheim & Co., Inc. as an Investment Analyst in 1998, where they recommended stocks for purchase and sale. In 1999, they became an Associate Analyst at Gerard Klauer Mattison (now BMO Capital Markets), where they focused on sell-side equity research for consumer companies. From 2000 to 2006, Mike worked at UBS as an Associate Director, specializing in sell-side equity research for gaming, leisure, and recreational products. Mike then joined Fitch Ratings in 2006 as a Director for US Corporates, eventually becoming a Managing Director in 2014. As a Managing Director, they served as the Head of US Leveraged Finance and Real Estate & Leisure Team Head, with market and sector responsibilities for Fitch Ratings. In 2020, they took on the role of Regional Group Head for North American Structured Finance in Fitch Ratings. Finally, in 2022, Mike joined Fitch Solutions as the Global Head for Corporates/LevFin/CLOs.
Mike Paladino obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The College of New Jersey in 1994. In 1993, they participated in a study abroad program at QUT (Queensland University of Technology). Prior to their college education, Mike attended Paramus High School from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder from the CFA Institute.
