Ed Barker has a diverse work experience spanning over a period of several years.
Ed began their career as an Audit Manager at PwC from 1995 to 2001. Ed then worked as the Financial Controller at netdecisions from 2001 to 2003.
Afterwards, Barker joined Burberry in 2003 and held various roles, including Group Financial Controller, until 2008.
From 2008 to 2018, they worked at Sainsbury's, where they held multiple positions such as Group Financial Controller, Regional Operations Manager, Head of Retail & Logistics Finance, Head of Trading & Supply Chain Finance, Interim Chief Financial Officer, and finally, Director of Group Finance.
In 2018, Barker moved to Superdry as a Chief Financial Officer until 2019, before transitioning to FitFlop as the Chief Financial Officer.
Ed also served as a Non-Executive Director & Audit Committee Chairman at Staffline Group plc from 2014 to 2020.
Throughout their career, Barker has accumulated extensive experience in finance and played crucial roles in several notable companies.
Ed Barker attended Lancing College from 1986 to 1991. Ed then pursued a degree in Economics at the University of Birmingham from 1992 to 1995.
