Michael Hamlin has over 25 years of work experience. Michael began their career in 1995 as an Electronic Missile Maintenance Officer and System Maintenance Officer for the US Army. In 2004, they became a Technical Support Officer for the US Army, where they were chosen as an Air and Missile Defense Subject Matter Expert for Army experimentation. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as an Architecture Analyst and Senior Architect for L-3 Communications. Michael then moved on to Lockheed Martin, where they were a Senior System Architect from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Independent Consultant for RAM Inc. Following this, they worked as a QA Tester for Prudential Financial from 2016 to 2020. Most recently, they have been Maintenance Lead for FITT Scientific, LLC since 2021.
Michael Hamlin obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History from the Virginia Military Institute between 1979 and 1983. Michael then went on to earn a Master's degree in Pastoral Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary (Camilla, GA) between 2017 and 2021. In addition, they obtained an ASTQB Foundation certification from the American Software Testing Qualifications Board in October 2016.
