John O'Connor

John O'Connor has a diverse work experience in healthcare and business. Starting in 1991, they worked as the Director of Operations at Lifelines Rehabilitation until 1995. From 1995 to the present, they have been the President of Motion Medical Solutions, offering healthcare recruiting, staffing, and consulting services. In 1999, they became the Vice President and Co-Founder of eWellness, a spin-off company involved in both traditional and internet-based medical supplies. In 2002, John O'Connor founded and became the CEO/Practice Administrator of Five Valleys Urology, leading its expansion to two offices and the development of a proprietary electronic health record and practice management system. In 2012, they served as the Board Secretary of HPMPT Health Professions of Montana Plan & Trust. Lastly, in 2016, they co-founded and served as the CEO of PatientOne, Inc., a communication software company specializing in patient engagement, education, and risk management, and later became the CEO and co-founder of another start-up, leading it to secure $1.25 million in seed round funding.

John O'Connor completed their education at Purdue University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communications. John attended Purdue University from 1981 to 1985. Prior to that, they attended North Central High School from 1979 to 1981, but no degree or field of study is specified for this period.

In addition to their formal education, John O'Connor has obtained several certifications. John obtained a Human Resources Management Certificate through the American College of Medical Practice Executives (HRMC) in June 2021. In September 2014, they became a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives. In June 2005, they obtained a Board Certification through the American College of Medical Practice Executives (CMPE) and also became a Certified Medical Practice Executive through the Medical Group Management Association. John'searliest certification is the Certified Personnel Consultant designation, which they obtained in May 1990 through The National Association of Personnel Consultants.
