Peter Wurmsdobler has worked in the tech industry since 1992. Peter'sfirst job was as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Machine and Process Automation in 1992. Peter then worked as a Consultant at the same Institute in 1997. In 1998, they became a Senior R&D Engineer at the Centre de Transfert des Microtechniques. In 2001, they became the Open Control Laboratory Director at Control.com. In 2002, they were a R&D Design Engineer at Parker Hannifin. From 2007 to 2012, they were a Principal Engineer at Cambridge Consultants Ltd. Finally, from 2018 to present, they have been a Lead Software Engineer at Five AI. During their tenure at these companies, Peter has worked on projects ranging from creating the technological foundations for autonomous vehicles to developing a novel 4D staring radar.
Peter Wurmsdobler completed their Matura at Stiftsgymnasium Wilhering from 1978 to 1986, where they studied Mathematics, German, Latin, and Ancient Greek. Peter then attended Technische Universit\u00e4t Wien from 1986 to 1992, where they earned their Dipl.Ing. in Mechanical Engineering. Finally, they returned to Technische Universit\u00e4t Wien from 1992 to 1997, where they earned their PhD in Control Engineering.
