Giuseppe Gennaro

Giuseppe Gennaro is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in cloud operations and engineering management. As the VP of Cloud Operations at Five9 since April 2021, Giuseppe oversees critical cloud initiatives. Prior to this role, Giuseppe spent over a decade at Cisco, where responsibilities included leading the Observability and Service Assurance organization within the Webex Platform. Giuseppe's career includes significant positions at Sun Microsystems/Oracle, where contributions were made to the OpenSSO identity management software, and McGraw-Hill Companies, leading initiatives resulting in substantial operational improvements. Giuseppe's foundational technical skills were developed at various companies including rightscenter.com, iXL/Pantheon Interactive, and SGI, culminating in a BS in Computer Science from San Jose State University.
