Roger Venning

Roger Venning is an established technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and operational roles across the telecommunications and cloud services sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Five9 since November 2020, Roger focuses on deploying conversational AI solutions following the acquisition of Inference Solutions, where Roger previously held positions as Chief Operating Officer and VP of Customer Success. Prior experiences include leadership roles at nbn™ Australia, where Roger advanced IT architecture and established IT Labs to drive technology renewal, and various engineering and managerial positions at BroadSoft, Singtel Optus, IProvide by AAPT, and Telstra. A graduate of the University of Adelaide with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Roger has a strong foundation in technology strategy, solution architecture, and customer success initiatives.
