Duncan Kochhar-Lindgren has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Duncan started their career as an Engineering Intern at Electroimpact in 2008, where they assisted with the assembly of wing tooling. Duncan then joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2009 as a Senior Design Project Manager, leading the design and development of a prototype Mars Rover. In 2010, they rejoined Electroimpact as a Project Engineer, where they were involved in various phases of automation projects for aerospace assembly. This included design, procurement, assembly, installation, and support. Duncan worked on projects ranging from designing brackets to being the sole mechanical engineer on a complete robotic system. In 2018, they moved to Fives Lund LLC as a Mechanical Engineer, and later advanced to the roles of Lead Engineer and currently holds the position of Project Engineer.
Duncan Kochhar-Lindgren started their education journey in 2002 at Reed College, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Duncan studied there for five years and successfully completed their undergraduate program in 2007. After their time at Reed College, Duncan attended the University of Washington in 2007-2008, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned during this period. Finally, they enrolled at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2008 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
