Radwa Elakkad

Radwa ElAkkad has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry. Radwa is currently working as a Data Engineer Technical Lead at Fivos, where their responsibilities include building medical applications and reports using APEX and developing migration tools using PL/SQL. Prior to this, they were a Senior Data Engineer at Fivos (formerly known as Medstreaming), where they focused on building medical applications and reports, as well as developing a migration tool.

Before joining Fivos, Radwa worked at Smart Cards Applications Company as an Oracle developer Technical Lead, where they wrote PL/SQL queries to generate reports, performed data analysis and changes, and optimized and tuned queries. Radwa also worked as a Senior Database Administrator at Arrow Electronics, where they designed, supported, installed, and maintained highly available databases.

Radwa has also gained experience as a Senior DBA & Database Developer at Esri Northeast Africa (Esri NeA), where they designed database schemes, administrated database servers, and managed backup, recovery, and replications for databases. Radwa also worked as a Database Administrator at Tatweer international, where they designed and documented database architecture and administered databases functions.

Earlier in their career, Radwa worked as a Software Developer at Allianz, where they were involved in software design, implementation using PL/SQL, and software testing. Radwa holds an OCP certification and is ITIL® certified.

Radwa ElAkkad has a Bachelor's degree in System and Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education in Mathematics at As-Salam College from 1997 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Radwa ElAkkad has obtained several certifications. These include the ITIL® (2011) Foundation certification from APMG International in 2017. Radwa also holds certifications from Oracle, including the Oracle Database 10g Administrator Certified Professional, Oracle Forms Developer Certified Professional, and Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate, all obtained in 2007.

Radwa ElAkkad has recently pursued further education by completing the Professional Data Analysis Nanodegree and the Advanced Data Analysis Nanodegree from Udacity. The specific months of completion for these certifications are not provided.

Radwa has also completed the Introduction to R course from DataCamp, although the year of completion is not specified.
