Herbert Henry McClary II

Herbert Henry McClary II has a diverse and impressive work experience. Herbert Henry started their career in 2002 as a Sergeant in the US Army, where they demonstrated leadership skills and a strong work ethic. After leaving the Army, they worked for a real estate development firm called Scientific Properties, where they managed daily operations and successfully increased residential occupancy. Herbert Henry then joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a Summer Analyst, gaining valuable real estate experience before being hired as a Credit Analyst. McClary later worked as a Real Estate Financial Analyst Intern at Ackman-Ziff, further expanding their knowledge in the industry. Herbert Henry then joined Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Summer Associate, where they helped execute a successful IPO for TPG Real Estate Trust. Herbert Henry continued at Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Associate, working on various transactions and advising clients, including the formation of a strategic joint venture partnership worth $400 million. In 2021, they founded a nonprofit organization, Black Runners + Allies 4 Therapy, to raise awareness of mental health issues in communities of color. McClary also worked as the Director of Corporate Development at Flagship Carwash, a division of Spotless Brands, where they were responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and executing M&A and real estate transactions. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Corporate Development at Spotless Brands. Throughout their career, McClary has demonstrated strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

Herbert Henry McClary II holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Herbert Henry also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Real Estate from New York University. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. McClary also holds additional certifications, including a Real Estate License from the State of North Carolina and the Series 79 certification from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
