David Xia

David Xia is an experienced professional in procurement and technology solutions, currently serving as the Director of Procurement, Process and Technology Solutions at Flagship Pioneering since August 2022. Prior to this role, David was the Head of Procurement at HeyDay from July 2021 to August 2022, and worked at Deloitte Consulting as a Senior Manager from August 2014 to May 2021. David began a career in actuarial science with positions as Senior Actuary at SCOR and Assistant Actuary at Allstate, from July 2010 to July 2013 and April 2006 to July 2010, respectively. David holds a Master of Engineering in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Chicago. David's academic foundation was further solidified at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.
