Heather Donovan

Heather Donovan is a Clinical Reviewer for Carelon Post Acute Solutions since July 2022 and has extensive experience in occupational therapy. Since December 2016, Heather has provided clinical occupational therapy services at both CalvertHealth and MedStar St. Mary's Hospital, focusing on medically complex patient populations and collaborating on clinical recommendations for safe discharge. Additionally, Heather has worked as an occupational therapist at Flagship Rehabilitation since 2014, delivering evaluations and treatment in sub-acute and skilled nursing settings. From April 2021 to June 2022, Heather served as the Coordinator of Community Service at Optimal Health Care, INC, managing patient intake and service coordination for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Heather holds a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Elizabethtown College, obtained in 2009.
