Charlie Puckett has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to 2020. Charlie started their career as a Contract Services Representative Intern at IBM in 2008, where they gained experience in contract writing and editing. In 2011, they worked as a Commercial Salmon Fisherman at Fields and Sons in Kodiak, Alaska. The following year, in 2012, Charlie worked as an ESL Teacher at Xinyang Normal University in China, teaching U.S. History and Culture. Charlie then pursued a Humanities Masters at the University of Chicago from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, Charlie interned at Newcity, where they contributed to cultural Chicago stories and managed intern projects. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an Assistant Game & Fish Online Editor at InterMedia Outdoors, responsible for web exclusive content and reader engagement initiatives. Charlie joined Flambeau Outdoors Hunting in 2015 as a Marketing Manager, and later became the Director of Marketing in 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at Flambeau, Inc. starting from October 2020.
Charlie Puckett obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Writing Intensive English from Marquette University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Charlie went on to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies at the University of Chicago, studying there from 2012 to 2013.
