Benson Wambugu

Benson Wambugu is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as a Cost Accountant at Flamingo Horticulture since November 2020, Benson is responsible for preparing and analyzing forecasts and budgets, evaluating production costs, and delivering management reports that support decision-making. Previously, Benson worked as an Audit Assistant at Primetick Consultants, where financial reports were prepared in compliance with tax regulations and client financials were monitored and analyzed. Additionally, Benson held the position of Financial Management Accountant at Hillside Green Growers & Exporters Co. Ltd, focusing on financial data collection, trend detection, and stakeholder communication. Benson holds a CPA(K) and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Kirinyaga University, completed between 2013 and 2018.
