John Trainor

John Trainor is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in program management and product development across various industries. Currently serving as Chairman of Land Management at Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust since January 2018, John has previously held key roles at Medtronic as Director of New Product Program Management within the Surgical Robotics division, and at Hologic, Inc. as Senior Director of Global PMO for the Breast and Skeletal Health Division. John’s background also includes senior positions at Timex Group and Procter & Gamble, where responsibilities encompassed advanced technology project management, category expansion, and integration of innovation platforms. With a strong foundation in engineering and business, supported by an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Western Connecticut State University, John combines technical expertise with strategic leadership. Additionally, John has a background as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy, serving as an engineering officer on multiple vessels.
