Alex Miro

Alex Miro has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Alex is currently the President and Chief Scientist, as well as the Founder, of FlashGrid Inc. Alex previously served as the CEO and Founder of FlashGrid Inc from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Acronis as the Vice President of Storage and Cyber Infrastructure.

Prior to that, Alex Miro worked at Acronis-FlashGrid-VMWare-Veritas since 1986 where they held the position of Software Entrepreneur, Systems Architect, and Technologist. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Chief Architect at VMware.

Before joining VMware, Alex Miro was the Founder and CTO of VIRSTO Software Corp. from 2007 to 2013. Alex also briefly worked as the CTO of Acronis Inc in 2006 and as the CTO/VP Engineering at PowerFile Inc from 2005 to 2006.

Alex'scareer began at VERITAS Software in 1993 where they served as the Sr. Director of the Advanced Technology Group until 2005. Alex also held the position of Director of Engineering at QStar Technologies from 1990 to 1992. Alex Miro's earliest work experience was at ИПИ АН СССР, where they held a role as мнс (??) from 1987 to 1989.

Alex Miro attended the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) from 1979 to 1985, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics. Further details regarding their education history are not provided.
